Nags Head

The Nags Head would have once been frequented by miners working at the nearby Northern United colliery. The view from the rear of the pub would have been a hive of industrial activity, against a backdrop of spoil heaps. It is difficult to imagine that scene now as the view is of a verdant vale set against open woodlands. The Nags Head hosts regular live music events.
