Village Inn

Just over half a mile south of the junction with the A814, this picturesque inn, built in 1827 as the local manse, offers views over Loch Long to the Arrochar Alps. The bar and restaurant are decorated in traditional Scottish country style. Five handpumps in the bar offer ales from a variety of Scottish breweries with an emphasis on Scottish breweries such as Fyne Ales, Loch Lomond, Fallen and Lerwick. The clientele is a mixture of friendly locals and daytrippers, hillwalkers or week-ending tourists staying at the inn.
