Black Bull Hub & Pub

TThe Black Bull Hotel has been serving the interests of Gartmore and the surrounding areas for 250 years. It was taken into community ownership with Government help in September 2019. The Black Bull Pub is a family-friendly, dog-friendly village pub, hotel and community hub. A fine old building, largely un-spoilt and still comprising of a warren of small rooms including two for dining, a games room and a cosy bar with real fire. There is also a large dining/function room suitable for various functions and community groups and events. Four very pleasantly furnished bedrooms are to available shortly. Mainly staffed by enthusiastic and keen volunteers supported by a chef and cellar-man. In view of the limited public transport available the landlord has inovatively started a free shuttle bus service to and from two local campsites and also to and from Aberfoyle and Buchlyvie.
