Popular family-run pub located in the centre of Silverton, with stone floors, stripped timber, old pine furniture, and a large open real fire. Three ales are served by gravity from a temperature-controlled stillage behind the bar at very competitive prices. There is a well-used function room and skittle alley, regular quiz nights and occasional live music. Good-value home-cooked food is served lunchtimes and evenings, plus a popular Sunday roast.
