The Stoke Canon Inn is a community owned and run pub, saved from extinction by a dedicated team of volunteers from the village. It offers a spacious beer garden for the warmer weather, and a woodburner for the winter months. Real ales are from local breweries; the real cider is Sandford Orchards Devon Red. Good-quality home-cooked food is served lunchtimes and evenings, and lunchtimes only on Sunday, when a traditional Sunday roast is available. Live events are featured (check website for details). Opening hours may vary. Awarded the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service in 2020.
