Originally an 18th century pub called The Ropemakers, the Bowling Green is a cosy local situated away from the main city centre close to Exeter City Football Club at St James Park. It has an extensive selection of reasonably priced pub food including pizzas and gluten free and vegetarian options. Four real ales are available, three are rotating and supporting local breweries. Live music every Saturday night and Sunday afternoon followed by a quiz in the evening. Opens at noon on match day Saturdays.
