Turks Head

Opening hours

Located in the heart of the city centre, next to the Guildhall, this is one of the regions oldest pubs and was a favourite watering hole of Charles Dickens whose character in the Pickwick Papers 'The Fat Boy' was modeled on an employee of the pub. Recently restored to its former glory, The Turk's Head is back with a bang and ready to showcase its 700 year history. Up to five ales are brewed on site, visible behind glass. Payments only by card or app.
