Rose Salterne

Named after the heroine of Charles Kingsley's Westward Ho! this is a large JD Wetherspoons pub in a former carpet shop in the centre of Bideford. To the front is a covered patio area (not for smoking) fronted by pillars onto Bridgeland Street. Up to ten real ales can be dispensed at the bar and real ciders are served on gravity from the fridge. A range of good pub food is available throughout the day.
