Thatched, Grade II listed 17th-century inn, with low beams, flagstone floors, an open fire in winter, and a pretty enclosed terrace to enjoy in summer. A recent local CAMRA branch Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year, it usually has four real ales available, together with a very good range of ciders. The pub also has a reputation for its excellent home-cooked food, which can be enjoyed in the dining area, adjacent to the bar.
