Traditional 16th century thatched inn on the old road from Barnstaple to Exeter. There are four separate eating areas serving locally sourced, home cooked food from a seasonal menu. The pub retains many original architectural features, including two real fires, one of which has a bread oven, while various photographs of historical interest adorn the walls. Outside there is a pleasant, south-facing patio.
Opening hours are from April to October. Please check web site for hours outside of those months.
