Owned & run by Father & Son Robert & Edward, the chef, since 1st June 2003, the Fortescue Arms dates back to the 1890’s when the original building was a station Hotel opposite the Mortehoe & Woolacombe railway station, until the days of Beecham in 1970, when the line was closed down. The Fortescue Arms is a freehouse with restaurants & B&B. Situated just 2 miles from the world acclaimed sandy beaches of Woolacombe, the Fortescue offers food & drinks with a choice of eating and drinking areas, freshly prepared varied menus, cooked in house and Sunday carvery. Dog and Family friendly.
