This friendly local was originally part of a farm dating from 1700s and became a coaching inn during the 19th-century. The horseshoe shaped bar, with inglenook fire place, leads through to an adjoining restaurant where locally sourced food is served. A good range of beers from St Austell is always available, together with a local cider in summer. Popular with both cyclists and walkers, the pub lies just one mile from the Tarka Trail. Please note that the pub was sold in February 2017 and that there may now be changes to some of the information given
