Friendly, welcoming pub set in mid-Devon countryside, with a large car park, attractive outdoor seating, sunny bar/dining area and a characterful restaurant. Although seemingly remote, Eggesford Station, where all Tarka Line trains stop, lies only two fairly easily walked or cycled miles away. The regular Teignworthy Reel Ale, is usually accompanied by at least two other West Country beers, while good locally sourced and home-cooked food is served.
