Named after the local folklore figure, this traditional 16th century village pub provides a warm welcome to visitors and locals alike. With several west country ales, some served straight from the cask, and twelve ciders and perries usually on offer its no wonder the walls are decorated with certificates of CAMRA awards won over the years. Excellent meals and snacks are available lunchtimes and evenings. Quizzes, darts and other events are supported and there are six en-suite guest rooms.
