General Sir Redvers Buller

Named after Crediton's most celebrated son of modern time whose distinguished military career included campaigns in the Sudan and the Boer War. This old house has a fine entrance which leads to a single long bar along one side of the pub and several levels of drinking areas with a variety of furniture. Further up at the back is an extensive beer garden which is a sun trap in the afternoon.
