Grade II-listed 16th-century thatched pub with a secluded garden, set in a picturesque estate village of cob and limewashed cottages within the Blackdown Hills. There are low-beamed ceilings and uneven floor levels throughout the many rooms. This is a friendly and welcoming family run venue with the emphasis on local real ales and produce. Good value food is served from Tuesday to Saturday (plus Monday in the summer) and lunchtimes on Sunday, a takeaway menu is also available.
