SEPTEMBER 2020 Has undergone a full internal refurbishment, with the bar moved across to the opposite wall to allow a full glass wall where the bar used to be, to let in more natural light. A JD Wetherspoon pub which attracts a large cultural cross-section of Leith's citizens. A low ceilinged but spacious room is broken into discrete eating areas by the trade-mark dais in one corner and waist high railinged wood panels. It's corner location affords two main entrances, and a third to Constitution St. allowing disabled access. This pub was originally the historic listed Palace Cinema and the balcony with the original seating and décor still exists above the current pub ceiling. NOTE Be aware that a single queue may form despite the long bar.
