A family-run, 18th-century pub in a pretty village by the Lammermuir Hills. The bar is cosy and welcoming, with half-panelled walls, a crimson colour scheme and an exposed stone wall with large wood-burning stove. The inn is popular for food, served in both the bar and tiny dining room, the dinner menu being particularly impressive. Families very welcome with children's menu, garden play area and toys provided. Occasional live music.
