Busy street corner bar favoured by a younger clientele, but welcoming to all, where the management have a very positive attitude towards cask ale. It has large windows and is wood-panelled with a varied range of comfortable seating. There's a cosy upstairs area with seating as well. Cask ale is featured on the bar counter with keg beer taps on the bar's back wall along with impressive and laddered back-lit glass spirit shelves. Bar snacks consisting of cheese, charcuterie and toasties are served all day and Pomo takeaway pizzas can be ordered - see Facebook. Children are not allowed.
