Clark's Bar

A refurbishment in July 2019 simplified the inside and opened up the windows but no drastic changes were made to the layout and style of the pub. This tenement bar is popular with locals and office workers. The internal layout is interesting with two private rooms at the rear. A number of historical brewery mirrors and old photos of the pub adorn the main room. Don’t miss the interesting mural on the steep stairs down to the toilets, which shows some former worthies. Food is available from the Street Food restaurant next door (opened February 2020). Children are not admitted.
