Large open plan bar converted from former farm cottages on the southern edge of the city and within walking distance of Robert Louis Stevenson’s childhood home at Swanston. Occasional beer festivals increase the range of reasonably priced ales. An Ember Inn that is geared up for food, which is available all day until 10pm. However there is a sizeable area for non-dining drinkers.
