Comfortable bar with an attractive painted ceiling just off the Royal Mile down an Old Town close. There are steps down to the entrance, as was common in the past. This is a welcome spot for refreshment after visiting the castle. The real ales are usually from smaller breweries UK-wide. A varying selection of six real ciders is also available.
