One of Edinburgh's oldest taverns, established in 1456, it overlooks the historic Bruntsfield Links, which is home to the world’s oldest short hole (36) golf course. No trace of the original pub except for the outside. The interior contains large booths and an imposing central table. No need to ask for water as there are large containers of iced water on the bar. It also contains Scotland's largest collection of golf memorabilia and if you wish to play the golf course you can rent your clubs from here.
