Large, contemporary Wetherspoon pub, converted in 1997 from a gymnasium, carpet retailers and a co-operative store. On the long bar, 12 hand pumps serve up to eight guest ales and real cider. There are plenty of tables inside and out, and TV for major sporting events. Opposite the bar, a raised seating area is available free of charge for meetings or parties.
