Maverick Drinking House

Large corner pub, former CAMRA branch pub of the year. The pub has a wild west theme and a live music venue, electric bands on Fridays, acoustic bands on Saturdays and open mic on Wednesdays. Four beers on handpump permanently available including three guests. BT Sports, ESPN and Racing Channel are available in a separate area when no music is on, and there is a covered heated smoking area and a small garden. Occasional beer festival, locally advertised. Ales from Holden's and Three Tuns are also regulars. Garden bar serves real ale and cider on Friday evenings and occasionally on Weekends.
