Dating from 1411, it has accommodation and the car park is accessed from the side off Bliss Gate Rd. It opens at 8am for breakfasts until noon, then lunchtime meal service during the week and all day at weekends except Sunday evening. There's also a wood-fired oven for serving pizzas. The spacious lounge bar features modern leather sofas and tables with the busy AA Rosette Award restaurant at the front. It offers seasonal events and occasional live bands.
