An out of the way country pub which is awash with elaborate woodwork features reclaimed in the 1960's from local churches and stately homes. Interconnecting small rooms develop into a main bar and large dining area. Parts of the pub date from the 13 century. Solid fuel stoves are surrounded by splendid fireplaces.
Excellent food is available from the main menu or an extensive range of specials. Drinkers may also select from an extensive range of malt whiskys and gins.
