Imposing red brick pub, formerly the Old Crown, with a terrace overlooking Brindley's historic river basins and the river bridge. Taken over, refurbished and renamed The Port House by Davenports in 2021, it has a maritime theme. There is one large room with a long single bar along one side and a terrace overlooking the river. Children are welcome and there is plenty of seating. There are photos on the walls about the history of Davenports Brewery. Popular with weekend visitors.
