Riverside village pub, at the end of a private lane, that was once a cider house and has been a pub since 1814.
It has been modernised and completely refurbished in 2018. The ramped access leads up to a beer terrace overlooking the river Severn and inside there are two rooms. The bar to the left, with a log burner, for conversation and bar meals, and to the right an extensive lounge and dining area with a central feature stove. Dogs are welcome in the bar.
Meals are available lunchtimes and evenings all week (except Sunday evenings) with pub meals, gluten free, steaks and children's meals on the menu.
In summer it's pleasant to relax on the front terrace or in the riverside garden watching the river and boats going by. Visiting boats can tie up at the landing stage and the pub also has fishing rights for 12 pegs.
Ramp up from the car park and single step access to the pub and WCs (not adapted).
Three beers are on the bar from local and regional breweries.
