Tucked away along the narrow end of High St, away from the church to the left from the top of the main street and dating from the 15th century, this pub has a reputation for good food. The cosy interior with a log burner has an atmospheric mix of old brick walls and ancient timbers. At the back there's a covered terrace with light strings, seating and tables. It offers home cooked meals and daily specials as well as Sunday Lunches.
