Canal side pub with a large car park and a separate tea room and smoke house on the other side of the lock.
A traditional bar leads off the central passageway with a lounge to the rear. In the summer the lock-side beer garden is popular with visitors and meals can be eaten outside. Food is cooked o the premises and sourced locally. 'Gongoozling' the boats as they pass through the lock is a popular past-time on sunny days.
Bar meals are served lunchtimes and evenings. Bank's Amber Ale and Mild are served along with changing beers from Marston's range.
Access has a low step over the threshold (2"), no adapted WCs.
