Plough Inn

Opening hours

A fine pub in the centre of Arksey village, right next to the picturesque church. Totally independent of Pubcos, it is owned and run by David and Elaine Ross who have managed it since 1993. They bought the lease in 2011 from Punch Taverns and refurbished to a very high standard. The large lounge has many horse brasses and pictures of the village mounted around the walls, a real log burning stove makes it cosy on winter evenings. There are separate pool and games rooms, one of which doubles as a function room. Three real ales usually including one from Hilltop. Food served Thursday to Saturday evenings, plus Saturday and Sunday lunches. CAMRA Pub of the Season April 2013.
