The pub is situated at the end of the main shopping street, with a large patio area to the front and a non-smoking garden to the rear. Sympathetically renovated by Wetherspoon, the pub now comprises one large room with alcoves for dining. A wide range of meals is served daily. Twice yearly beer festivals and occasional Meet-the-Brewer nights are featured.
