Kings Head

A lively village pub which consists of a U-shaped bar and a single-room lounge. Four real ales are served. The pub holds a beer festival on August bank holidays, and it is also the location for a steam rally in September. The Trans-Pennine Way is nearby, and walkers are always welcome. The pub supports a variety of local events, and has a reputation for good food and cask ale, served by friendly staff. Opening times can vary from those published. Does not use Autovacs.
