Recently refurbished, (Nov 2018) traditionally decorated establishment on the way out of Tickhill towards Maltby, that appears to be trying to make the step up to 'gastro pub' status. the main area is still set out as a bar while the old local bar area has been completely upgraded into a dining area. the food choices are written out on a chalk board in the pub and not from a chain or a branded menu. It serves an extensive range of quality dishes from locally sourced ingredients. There is an extensive very pleasant outdoor area that is paved, with planted borders and baskets.
