Sandpiper Inn

At the west end of the market place The Sandpiper is decorated in traditional style and has a distinct focus on dining, although drinkers are welcome. It has been Egon Ronay recommended. It is split into several small drinking/eating areas and a small terrace outside at the front forms a real sun trap in good weather. Convenient for the Wensleydale Railway station. Guest beers usually from Yorkshire Dales Brewery or Black Sheep.
