Less than a mile from the spectacular Aysgarth falls, this 17th-century coaching inn also offers en-suite accommodation. The cosy bar serves up to five real ales, usually including two from the local Yorkshire Dales brewery, and there is a separate restaurant and outside drinking area. Closed on Mondays from October.
