Welcoming community free house which survived near closure after a lively campaign by villagers and is now thriving. There is a wide ranging menu of locally sourced, freshly-prepared meals, including vegetarian and children's menus. Guest beers are usually LocAles, usually including a Wensleydale Brewery beer such as Semerwater, with an extra guest in the summer.
