Traditional family-run Swaledale hotel of character nestling beneath the towering Fremington Edge and Harkerside. This friendly pub lies on both the Coast-to-Coast and Inn Way walks, and the Dales Cycle Way. It serves fresh, home-made food all day in its sedate wood-panelled bar with open fire, lounge with sports TV and two dining rooms. A Youth Hostel is situated half a mile up the hill.
