Sun Inn

Located in the hilltop community of Newbottle, the Sun Inn is the last surviving pub in the village. It comprises of a bar with pool table to the left of the entrance and a Italian Restaurant ( Amalfi Restaurante) to the right. There is one handpull in the bar with cask ale that changes weekly. There is outside seating which is a suntrap in the summer. A popular quiz is held on Wednesday evenings. Bus stops outside for services to Newcastle, Sunderland, Houghton Le Spring and Washington.
