Belmont

Two room pub in centre of Belmont on outskirts of Durham City. After a major refurbishment reopened February 2015 under its new name 'The Belmont'. The old lounge has been opened up and brought more into use as part of the pub. The beer garden to the rear has been revitalised with a good section of paving and ample seating and tables outside to the front of the pub. A further refurbishment as Stirks Italian Steakhouse resulted in the removal of real ale in 2021.
