Named after the original name for the road it stands on - Cap and Stocking Lane. A traditional back street pub with some tiled floors and etched glass windows. Still serving Bass from the jug. Caters for a wide range of ages and types of customer within a pub with 3 separate drinking areas. Mother and son run the pub. Comfortably decorated with button back benches and chairs. Lots of old photos of the area are on the walls throughout. Outside is a large, secluded tiered garden with petanque court. Occasional live music
