Coaching inn dating from the 17th century with the original oak-beamed ceiling displaying an extensive collection of old jugs. The walls are covered with pub mirrors, brewery signs and railway memorabilia, which even extend into the toilets. The cosy open-plan interior is divided into two areas with a large inglenook on the right. Good value food includes fish and chips Friday evening.
