An excellent unspoilt pub in a grade II* listed building dating from the 17th century. The pub consists of three small rooms: parlour, old kitchen and main bar where gravity dispensed beer and cider is served from the small counter/hatch. No car park but on-road car parking is not a problem in this small isolated village. As of April 1st 2019, the weekend opening was extended to all day between April & October. Cobs, soup and hot savoury pies available on all weekends. Fish & Chips and pizzas can be ordered in for delivery on Friday evenings. Closed Christmas Day & New Year Day Branch POTY for 2020.
