This beautiful old-worldly village pub was built in 1800 and was initially called the Cross Keys. Now owned by Everards Brewery and leased by the Brunswick Inn & Brewery based in Derby. It is very popular with locals, hikers, cyclists, dog walkers and ale lovers alike. A main stone flagged bar area with low ceilings, high backed pews and a large open fire is flanked by a cosy snug. A newer delightfully airy conservatory extension sits at the back, which leads to an outside drinking area. Holds an annual beer festival and named as Amber Valley Camra Pub of the Year runner-up 2020. Cask ales & Brunswick bottles available to take out.
