Comfortable two-roomed pub with a small garden area just off the A610 Ripley to Ambergate road. Now the only pub in a quiet hamlet with no through traffic. A former Hardy Hanson's and later Greene King owned pub, the George is now a free house which has been run by the same licensees for over 20 years. Well known for home-cooked food, takeaway meals are now available to order.
