Miners Standard

This delightful 17th century free house caters for tourists and is also popular with locals .Good value food is available including excellent pies.The name refers to the dish traditionally used by miners to measure lead ore. A wood burning stove is very welcome during the winter and the pub is very dog friendly. There is a separate games room for pool and darts.
