Time appears to stand still in Elton with this unchanged village pub. Off the central corridor are two basically furnished rooms, whilst towards the rear is the bar and snug with quarry tiled floor, fixed bench seating and real fire which is lit when needed. Outside toilets next to the pigsty. A gem, but currently run by the landlady's nephew so be aware of the reduced opening hours - currently only evenings.
