The Golden Pheasant is a welcoming pub which supports community life with something for everyone. The regular real ales are complimented by two guest beer with no ties. If you are after a tasty meal, the menu should have more than enough to tempt you. The pub has a good sized grassy garden, ideal for those with children and an outside smoking area separate from the garden. The pub changed ownership in July 2017, and had a refresh to a more traditional "rustic" interior, but retaining the same layout. The beer cellar is now visible behind the bar in a glass walled separate room.
