Falstaff

This superbly-run pub is tucked away in the back streets, but well worth finding. It has a loyal band of friendly locals plus many more irregulars, of all ages, who come from far and wide to enjoy a real traditional pub atmosphere. There are three separate rooms, one a cozy snug, a small yard with an impressive modern sculpture, and immaculate loos. The pub is full of Offilers' Brewery memorabilia and other interesting artefacts which provide visual interest as you savour the regular beers brewed on the premises. Not to be missed.
